This is a holiday card I illustrated for the Support Committee for Battered Women in Waltham, MA. They asked me to depict a house that looked peaceful, safe, and not identifiably urban or suburban but simply a home that could be anywhere. I drew a favorite old house in Somerville, MA, and separately drew a tree, then scanned the drawings into Photoshop, combined them, and added color, snow, sky, and a cat. (The cat got more comments than anything else in the piece.)
